Anna Paquin
Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, born in Wellington,) is an Canadian actor from Canada. She was born in Winnipeg and raised in Wellington Paquin was able to make her acting debut portraying Flora McGrath in the romantic drama film The Piano for which she received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress aged 11 years old, and was the 2nd youngest recipient to win an award within Oscar history. Anna Paquin's full name is Anna Helene Paquin. Born on July 24, 1982, at Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, she was a Canadian native New Zealand actress. As as a young girl, she was awarded an Academy Award for best support actress. Her performance as the empathetic and curious character Holly Hunter played in The Piano (1993) brought her the honor. As a result of an audition Flora McGrath was cast as the daughter a Scottish pianist. Flora McGrath is the child of a mute Scottish musician who came to New Zealand to marry in the 19th century. After moving to America, she was a teenager. United States, she became an adult. Paquin started her acting career in the midst of her childhood with a role of the Jane Eyre protagonist in Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre as well as she played a significant role in Fly Away Home. Paquin played Frankie Addams, a character in Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding in 1997. In Steven Spielberg's Amistad in 1997 her character was the Spanish queen in a less prominent part. The actress played teenagers in Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (1998), A Walk on the Moon (1998) as well as Almost Famous (2000). Also, she played the character of Polexia Aphrodisa.
