Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson was an American actress. Elson's acting career started as a child actor and model. She is best known for her role as Alice Tyler in CBS science fiction. Andrea auditioned and won the role as Lynn Tanner on the hit show ALF (1986). She worked for several years on various television shows and Movies of the week before she decided to retire from the entertainment business. Andrea Elson's job as Lynn Tanner, Willie and Kate Tanner's teenage daughter was not easy for her. In her retrospective from 2000, People Elson said developing as a young woman in front of the sitcom-viewing audience was difficult. Born on March 6, 1969 in New York City, this green-eyed actor grew up travelling due to her father's work in the field of advertising. At 10 years old, Andrea had already been traveling to New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. Andrea was living in San Diego when she met an agent, and the role for which she auditioned was selected. Fusco was in favor of the idea saying, "ALF can drink beer due to the fact that he's over 285." In the years when ALF began to be becoming more famous, NBC said that Fusco was no longer allowed to have ALF drinking alcohol before the children. This was not a good character model. Fusco was of the opinion that ALF was mature enough to drive drunk, wasn't right. The year 1995 was the year he was diagnosed with lymphoma. It was treated successfully, and the cancer remained at a high level of remission through the end of 2019. On June 26, 2019 at the age of 75, he passed away from his illness in the Lillian Booth Actors Home located in Englewood, New Jersey.
