Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actor. She has also produced films such as Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. She was born into an upper middle-class family living in Los Angeles and had big dreams for her future. Her mom was a film buff and instilled a passion for film in her young daughter too. Paula was involved in a variety of co-curricular activities in school, but she had particular passion for dramatics. Her favorite part was being in stage shows with her friends. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School produced a number of plays. The actress decided acting was her preferred career. She attended an acting program at the University of Southern California for the Summer Program, and she loved it. She received a 3-month contract to create documentaries for PBS. She started her career as a production assistant for TV when she completed this assignment. After that, she started producing documentaries. Although she was awed by her job, she still yearned to be an actress. She started her career in acting with a role as Will Smith's co-star for the romance comedy Hitch. Since then, she's appeared in many movies and shows.
