Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter Peter Silk - an academic and Ilkay Silk - a talented actor, writer, director and producer. Anna Silk was the child of a British father and an Turkish-born mother from England. Her appearances in commercials were numerous as a young child. Anna relocated to Toronto, Ontario, to pursue her acting. In the decade following, she moved to Los Angeles.
